The instructions for use were somewhat incomplete, but I managed to get the device working. The remote control seems to enter standby mode really quickly and can't be reactivated until the whole device is turned off, which must be done using the on/off button on the ball. This slightly undermines the idea of the toy if you want to give the remote to a partner. The device also doesn't turn off with the remote, which is a bit inconvenient if you want to use it outside the home. Maybe this is just a faulty unit, but for me, it will stay gathering dust in the cupboard.
